Mersedeh Emrani

Principal, Fairfax Campus at Larchmont Charter School

Mersedeh Emrani is the current principal of Fairfax Campus at Larchmont Charter School. Mersedeh has been in this position since January 2013. Prior to that, they were the Dean of Students at Larchmont Charter School at Fairfax from September 2007 to June 2008. Before that, they were a teaching assistant at Warner Avenue Elementary School from January 2000 to August 2001.

Mersedeh Emrani has a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles in the field of Epidemiology. Mersedeh also has a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from National University in Elementary Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA. In addition, they have two certifications from the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies: one in Adaptive Schools and one in Cognitive Coaching.

A direct report to Mersedeh Emrani is and Jennifer Santangelo - Assistant Principal. They are on a team with Jennifer Gonzalez - Director, HR, Jennifer Bledsoe - Director, Development, and Felix Garcia - Facilities Manager. Mersedeh Emrani reports to Amy Held, Executive Director.
