Mike Kang

Mike Kang is currently the Principal of LaFayette Park Campus at Larchmont Charter School. Prior to this, they worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District from February 2007 to February 2014 as a Categorical Program Advisor and Title 1 coordinator. Mike has dedicated their career to education and making a difference in the lives of students. Mike is a strong leader and advocate for education reform.

Mike Kang received a postbaccalaureate credential in administrative services preliminary from California State University-Dominguez Hills. Mike then went on to earn a secondary teaching credential in mathematics from California State University, Los Angeles. Next, they earned a masters in international relations and Pacific studies from UC San Diego. Finally, they received a B.A. in economics and management from UC Irvine.
