Dr. Tyler King

Dr. Tyler King is a board-certified family medicine physician currently practicing at Laredo Medical Center since August 2023. In addition to clinical work, Tyler serves as a City Council Member for the City of Laredo and holds several leadership roles within professional organizations, including Resident Representative for FamMedPAC at the American Academy of Family Physicians and Bureau of Osteopathic Education Resident Representative for the American Osteopathic Association. Tyler's previous experience includes serving as a Family Medicine Resident Physician and a Resident Physician at GATEWAY COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER INC. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Educational Studies from The Johns Hopkins University, alongside a background in Political Science and Pre-Medicine from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, Tyler has a history in education as an IB History Teacher at IDEA Public Schools.
