Rick Shenton is a seasoned Senior Facilities Project Manager and Engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently employed at Laricina Energy Ltd. since September 2007, Rick has contributed to projects such as the Germain 5,000 bpd Diluent Recovery System addition and the Saleski 10,700 bpd FEED study. Previously, Rick held senior roles at Paramount Resources, where responsibilities included managing the Surmont 10,000 bpd FEED study and the Kettle River Gas Re-injection Pilot Experiment. Additional experience includes a position as Senior Facilities Project Manager at Colt Engineering and Senior Project Engineer at DPH Engineering Inc. Rick began their career as a Facilities Engineer at Unocal Canada Limited. Rick holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, obtained between 1978 and 1983.
