Nathalie Qin LCSW

Nathalie Qin, LCSW has diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Nathalie began their career as a Freelance Translator for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in 2012. Nathalie then interned at Roberts & Langer as an Account Management Intern, where they managed clients' social media and conducted market research. In 2014, they worked as a Research Volunteer at James J Peters VA Medical Center, where they analyzed data and presented research results. Additionally, they served as an Intake Counselor at The Door - A Center of Alternatives, conducting intake interviews and making appropriate referrals. Nathalie also volunteered as a Helpline Volunteer at the National Eating Disorders Association, providing information and support to individuals in need. Nathalie gained experience in crisis intervention as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, where they performed suicide assessments and safety planning. Nathalie worked as a Social Work Intern at MFY Legal Services, providing counseling, advocacy, and home visits to vulnerable populations. Nathalie also served as an Early Childhood Center Social Work Intern at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, working with families to promote wellbeing and support their mental health and socio-economic needs. Most recently, Nathalie worked as a Client Care Coordinator at Henry Street Settlement, where they provided counseling, care coordination, crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for families. Nathalie is currently employed as a Behavioral Health Clinician at Larkin Street Youth Services.

Nathalie Qin, LCSW, has a strong educational background in the field of social work. Nathalie earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Barnard College, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Building on their undergraduate degree, Nathalie pursued further education at New York University, where they obtained a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Nathalie Qin has also obtained several certifications. In August 2017, they earned the Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) certification from the National Association of Social Workers - New York State Chapter. This certification further solidifies their expertise in the social work field. Additionally, in November 2018, Nathalie obtained the Associate Social Worker (ASW) certification from the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
