Kurt Schaldenbrand

Kurt Schaldenbrand has a long history of work experience. Kurt began as a contract programmer in 1986, then worked as a software developer for Word Processing Exchange in 1984. In 1988, they co-founded RESUMate and served as a product designer. In 1992, they were a software architect for WorkWell Health & Safety Systems. In 2005, they provided volunteer technical assistance as an IT project manager for Lamaze Family Center Ann Arbor. From 2009 to 2020, they served in multiple roles at Otava (formerly Online Tech), including a stint as head of Product, helping grow the company by over 10X through multiple acquisitions and ownership groups. Most recently, they were the CTO and Vice President of Product for Larky, and is currently taking a break and exploring options.

Kurt Schaldenbrand attended the University of Michigan from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
