Anna Maglio

Anna Maglio is a skilled scientist with a strong background in molecular biology and genetics. Currently serving as a Scientist I on the DNA Data Storage team at CATALOG since April 2024, Anna previously held roles including Senior Research Associate at Sail Biomedicines, where contributions involved the development of programmable RNA therapeutics and RNA structure analysis. At the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, Anna focused on high-throughput single cell sequencing methods and enzymatic DNA synthesis characterization. Early research experiences include functional knockout studies at the Marine Biological Laboratory and a senior thesis on bacterial RNAi at Hamilton College. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hamilton College and completed a study abroad semester in Coastal Ecology and Natural Resource Management.
