Sean Vandergrift

Sean Vandergrift has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Sr. Engineer I at Sail Biomedicines since August 2021. Prior roles include Engineer III and Process Development Engineer at the same company. Before joining Sail Biomedicines, Sean Vandergrift worked at AveXis, Inc. in various positions including Engineer, MSAT, Bioprocess Engineer II, Manufacturing Shift Lead, and BioProcess Engineer from September 2018 to August 2021. Additionally, a brief tenure at Biogen in 2017 involved contributions as a Drug Product Process Development Co-op within the Parenteral Process Development team. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a Biomanufacturing Concentration from North Carolina State University, obtained between 2014 and 2018.
