Natalia Salgado is a Biomedical Engineer with diverse experience in medical device development and regulatory affairs. Currently working at Laronix since May 2023, Natalia leads CAD design for implantable medical device components and manages risk assessment through PFMEA documentation. Previously, Natalia contributed to product development as a Manufacturing Technician and has been involved with Ayúdame3D since November 2019, designing personalized prostheses and volunteering for the organization's mission. Prior experience includes a regulatory affairs internship at Shire and a research assistant role at Universidad de los Andes, focusing on vascular grafts. Natalia holds a Graduate Diploma in Global Project Management, a Master's in 3D Printing and Advanced Additive Manufacturing, a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, and a Minor in Management from Universidad de los Andes.
