Andrew Calderwood

Andrew Calderwood is a Project Engineer at Larry Walker Associates since November 2020, specializing in developing groundwater flow models and managing groundwater data for the General Sustainable Planning (GSP) process. Prior experience includes a PhD candidacy at UC Davis, where Andrew developed a MODFLOW model to simulate groundwater-surface water interactions and created field instrumentation for studying streambed seepage. Previous roles encompass student assistant positions at Graham Fogg Lab and Harter Lab at UC Davis, where responsibilities included data management and research on well codes. Andrew also gained experience as a Student Contractor with the US Army Corps of Engineers, focusing on digitizing river depth data. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, both from UC Davis.
