Michael Skjøtt Andersen

Michael Skjøtt Andersen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael Skjøtt began their career as a Student Assistant at Nykredit Mægler, where they gained experience in post handling, user administration, and data retrieval. Michael Skjøtt then served as President of Djøf Studerende Århus, taking on responsibilities such as budget management and overall leadership. Following this, they worked as a Student Employee in Business Development at Danske Commodities, providing operational and tactical support to various teams.

Their legal career began at Bech-Bruun, where they worked as a Junior Associate in the Insolvency practice, dealing primarily with bankruptcy and debt collection. As a Legal Intern in the Tax practice at Bech-Bruun, they assisted with drafting legal documents and conducting research. Michael Skjøtt then joined Gorrissen Federspiel as an Assistant Attorney, working on a wide range of M&A projects, corporate law matters, and commercial contracts. Michael Skjøtt later became an Attorney at Gorrissen Federspiel's M&A/Corporate practice, focusing on Energy, Utilities, and Renewables.

In 2019, Michael joined GRUNDFOS as the Head of M&A Legal, overseeing all legal aspects of their M&A processes. Michael Skjøtt was responsible for initiating buy or sell-side processes, conducting due diligence, negotiating transaction documents, and planning post-merger integration. Michael Skjøtt also had key interactions with internal and external stakeholders on strategic, commercial, and financial matters.

Currently, Michael serves as the Legal Director, Corporate & Investments at Lars Larsen Group, starting in 2023.

Michael Skjøtt Andersen attended Aarhus University from 2013 to 2015, earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in the Elite Module Programme. Michael Skjøtt also obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the same university from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they pursued a BSc degree in Business administration, commercial law, and tax law at Aarhus School of Business, Aarhus University. Michael's education journey started with a Higher Commercial Examination (HHX) degree in Business Administration and Economics from Aarhus University, which they completed from 2005 to 2008.
