Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar is an experienced professional in project management and planning with over 20 years of expertise in the engineering and construction sectors. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager Projects at Larsen & Toubro since April 2007, Amit leads a shipbuilding construction project for defense initiatives. Previous roles include Assistant General Manager Project Planning and Senior Manager-Project Planning in the Defence and Aerospace division. Amit's career began at mtu solutions, where responsibilities included heading sales and maintenance for heavy-duty diesel engines. Early experience also includes a position as Maintenance Engineer at Orient Craft Limited. Amit holds a Post Graduate Master in Business and Project Management from SDA Bocconi Asia Center and a Master's degree in Theory of Constraints from the Goldrat School, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
