LA’s BEST
Mark Flaisher is an accomplished Senior Producer at Mark Flaisher Entertainment since November 1984, with extensive experience in event production and management. Current roles include serving on the Board of Directors at Kinetic Lighting and as a long-time supporter and event producer for LA’s BEST. Flaisher also produces concerts and special events for Playa Vista Community Services and was a past board member for Grand Performances. Additional experience includes event production for the Office of the Mayor from 1996 to 2015, technical direction at GLOW Santa Monica, and involvement in various festivals including CBS Radio's WAVEFEST, the Grand Avenue Festival, and the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books as a founding producer.

LA’s BEST Afterschool Enrichment Program plays a vital role in the lives of more than 25,000 unique and talented elementary school students who come from neighborhoods with the fewest resources and the greatest needs. Every school day, from the time the school bell rings until 6pm, each LA’s BEST student receives a nutritious meal, help with their homework and the opportunity to participate in a wide array of enrichment activities. LA’s BEST engages children creatively, emotionally, intellectually and physically, empowering them to explore and discover the opportunities in their lives. We inspire and prepare children to create lives full of choices.
