Jessica Harvey, JD, serves as the Teacher of the Gifted and AES Case Manager at Las Cruces Public Schools since July 2024, and also owns Harvey Legal Services since August 2019. Previously, Jessica taught at HATCH VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOLS from July 2020 to July 2024. Additionally, Jessica held the role of Commissioner for ServeNM from July 2013 to June 2021, appointed by the Governor’s Office to oversee AmeriCorps grant funds. Jessica has extensive experience as a Child Support Legal Assistant in both Establishment and Enforcement roles, managing numerous active cases and handling court-related responsibilities. Jessica's early career included a legal secretary position at Gluth Law, LLC, and internships with the City of Las Cruces and the Third Judicial District Attorney's Office. Jessica earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Law & Society from New Mexico State University, an Alternative Teaching Certificate from Eastern New Mexico University, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Grand Canyon University.
