Julia Montany, MA, is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in trauma-informed care and community service. Currently serving as Program Manager for the WINGS Program for Survivors of Torture at Las Cumbres Community Services since 2022, Julia leads efforts to provide comprehensive support to survivors throughout New Mexico. Previously, Julia held various managerial roles at Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains, where responsibilities included overseeing programs for vulnerable populations and establishing the first ORR-funded Survivors of Torture program in New Mexico. Additional experience includes operations management and trauma counseling for at-risk children. Julia is currently pursuing a PhD in International Psychology with a focus on Trauma at The Chicago School, following an MA in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University and a BS in Psychology.
