Stuart Mcelderry

Stuart Mcelderry is currently the Dean of Academic Services, Business, Social Science, & Learning Resources at Las Positas College.

Previously, they served as the Dean of Social Science, Library, Public Safety & Career Education from July 2019 to August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Dean of Arts & Humanities from January 2018 to August 2019.

Mcelderry has been with Las Positas College since August 2000, where they started as a Stuart'story Instructor. Stuart remained in that role until December 2017 when they were promoted to Dean of Arts & Humanities.

Before joining Las Positas College, Mcelderry was an Assistant Professor Of Stuart'story at Doane University from August 1998 to June 2000.

Stuart Mcelderry earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Stuart'story from the University of Oregon. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts - MA in Stuart'story from San Francisco State University. Stuart also holds a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Stuart'story from the University of California, Berkeley.

Stuart Mcelderry reports to Dyrell Foster, President. They work with Angelica Cazarez - Sr. Administrative Assistant, Shawn Taylor - Director, Student Equity & Success, and Rajinder Samra - Director, Research & Planning.
