Stephanie Kagel

Stephanie Kagel, M. Ed., is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in teaching and library services. Currently serving as a Children Services Assistant at the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District since July 2022, Stephanie has previously worked as a 5th Grade Teacher for the Clark County School District from January 2021 to January 2023, where responsibilities included curriculum development, direct instruction, and supporting at-risk students. With earlier roles as a 3rd Grade Teacher in the Clark County School District and a 2nd Grade Teacher at American Indian Model Schools, alongside collaborative experiences in both teaching and library settings, Stephanie has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing engaging and culturally responsive educational experiences. Academically, Stephanie holds a Master of Library & Information Science, a Master of Education in Literacy Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, showcasing a robust foundation in both educational practice and literacy development.
