Sherri Amador

Sherri Amador is a seasoned professional in the hospitality and event management industry, currently serving as a Destination Group Sales Coordinator at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority since March 2023. With prior experience as a Senior Sales & Marketing Administrative Assistant at Marriott Hotels from March 2016 to September 2021, Sherri supported sales teams and managed hotel leads. Sherri’s background also includes roles as a Dual Event Specialist, where event planning and client management were key responsibilities, and as a Guest Service Agent across various Marriott properties, contributing to customer service excellence and sales coordination. Sherri holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, & Event Management from San Jose State University and an Associate of Science in Social Sciences from Mission College. Additionally, Sherri participated in a study abroad program focused on hospitality and tourism.
