Sunshine Smith

Sunshine Smith has extensive experience in management, finance, and operational support, currently serving as the Manager of Maintenance Operations at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority since October 2014. Prior roles at LVCVA include Accounting & Finance Associate and Administrative Secretary, where responsibilities encompassed financial document coordination, filing system management, and general clerical work. Earlier career highlights include serving as an Administrative Assistant at Compassion Crest Home Care, a Bank Teller at BB&T, and technical positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation and Harris IT Services, focusing on training and technical writing. Military experience includes serving as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy and as an Electronics Technician. Sunshine Smith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Project Management at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
