Andreea Allen (Deni)

Andreea 'Deni' Allen has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. In 2012, they started their career as a Sales Associate at Homegoods, where they utilized their knowledge of visual merchandising and customer service to increase sales. Andreea 'Deni' then transitioned to the hospitality industry, working as a Front Desk Agent at TownePlace Suites by Marriott from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Andreea joined Dassault Systèmes 3DEXCITE as a Materials Specialist, collaborating with on-site engineers to develop and test the Materials Utilization Database. Their contributions resulted in significant cost savings for the company.

Andreea's interest in user-centered design led their to pursue a career in User Experience (UX) Design. In 2022, they attended General Assembly, participating in a 500+ hour immersive program focused on learning UX design methods, research best practices, and design thinking. Andreea 'Deni' gained hands-on experience working with real-life clients on web and mobile projects, utilizing tools and the Double Diamond Design process to deliver high-quality digital products.

Currently, Andreea is working as a User Experience Designer at Las Vegas Sands Corp., where they leverage their knowledge and skills to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences.

Throughout their career, Andreea has demonstrated their ability to adapt to different industries and contribute to the success of their teams through their expertise and dedication.

Andreea 'Deni' Allen completed the User Experience Immersive (UXDI) program at General Assembly in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Simulation, Animation, and Gaming from Eastern Michigan University, graduating in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Andreea has obtained several certifications to further develop their skills. Andreea 'Deni' completed the Figma: Handing off to Developers certification through LinkedIn in December 2022, followed by the UX DesignOps: Overview certification from the same institution. In January 2022, they completed the General Assembly Visual Design Bootcamp certification from General Assembly. Moreover, Andreea also obtained a certification in UI/UX Design from Coursera in July 2021.
