Technology Support Engineer at Las Vegas Sands

Brian Winchester has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Brian started their career in 1996 as a Data Communications Field Technician at OAO Corporation, where they were responsible for installing and terminating fiber optics, coaxial cables, and networking equipment. Brian also had a Secret Security clearance and handled various customer tasks.

In 2000, Brian joined Wire One Communications as a Video Support Engineer. Here, they provided technical support and installation assistance for video communication products, including Polycom and Tandberg systems. Brian specialized in supporting both secure and non-secure environments.

From 2007 to 2018, Brian worked at Yorktel as a Sr. Video Infrastructure Engineer. Brian played a crucial role in supporting Amgen's Global Unified Video Conferencing solution, managing and upgrading hundreds of Cisco and Polycom codec endpoints. Brian also led room refresh projects, upgrading legacy Polycom codecs to newer platforms.

In 2018, Brian joined AVI-SPL as an Infrastructure Engineer and later became an Infrastructure Team Lead in 2019. During their tenure, they provided infrastructure support and leadership, taking care of various projects and responsibilities.

Most recently, in 2023, Brian joined Las Vegas Sands Corp. as a Technology Support Engineer.

Brian Winchester obtained a Training Certificate in Video Conference Network Infrastructure from Polycom in 2008. In addition, they have acquired several certifications including ITIL Foundation Level from PeopleCert in October 2020, CVE certification training from Certified Video Engineer in June 2005, and Certified Technology Expert from Pexip in November 2020.
