Fatai Momodu

Fatai Momodu has extensive work experience in design and project management in the hospitality industry. Fatai is currently working as the Director of Design for Las Vegas Sands Corp., where they are leading a $1.7 billion capital expenditure project for Marina Bay Sands Singapore. Their responsibilities include overseeing the remodel of 2000 luxury rooms, gaming areas, retail shops, restaurants, VIP lounges, and spas. Fatai has also improved project team communications and review processes.

Prior to their current role, Fatai worked at Wynn Design & Development as the Director of Interior Design. Fatai led the $4.5 billion Wynn Palace Macau project from inception to completion and managed several other projects in Wynn Macau and Wynn Cotai. Fatai collaborated with designers to offer improvements for all Wynn Asia projects, monitored the design process, and coordinated with builders to ensure construction conformed to drawings and designs.

Before joining Wynn Design & Development, Fatai served as the Assistant Director, Project Manager, and Project Design Coordinator at the company. Fatai led a design team and managed various Wynn Asia projects, including casino development, restaurant and retail renovations, and spa renovations. Fatai also coordinated pre-design activities and administered large budgets.

Fatai began their career as a Facilities/Space Planner at Sky, supervising project architects and technicians and overseeing the construction and administration of projects. Fatai also worked as an Interior Designer at Vector Management, developing interior design concepts, collaborating with clients, and selecting furniture and accessories.

Furthermore, Fatai worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Greenwich Council, where they reviewed and approved shop drawings, assessed task completion, and discussed design specifications with project and engineering teams.
