Meg Russell

Vice President, Corporate IT at Las Vegas Sands

Meg Russell has over 25 years of work experience, starting in 1996 as an Air Force Officer in the United States Air Force. Meg achieved the rank of Major and held various roles, including Program Manager for a $400M satellite communications program and Aide de Camp to the Commander of Space and Missile Systems Center.

In 2007, Meg joined NextEra Energy Resources, LLC as a Project Director in Business Development, where they worked until 2012.

From 2012 to 2020, Meg worked at Las Vegas Sands Corp., initially as an Executive Director in the Corporate Project Management Office, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Meg was involved in high-visibility, critical priority projects, including the implementation of the SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay system and the deployment of a new Access Control system. Meg also led projects related to constructing workspaces, renovating the casino floor, and implementing new corporate purchasing and travel credit card programs.

Currently, Meg is serving as the Vice President of Corporate IT at Las Vegas Sands Corp., a role they started in December 2020.

Meg Russell has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. From 1998 to 2000, they pursued and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Western New England University. In 2014, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
