Senior Software Engineer at Las Vegas Sands

Randall Graham has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Randall started their professional journey at ABAL Manufacturing Inc. in 1985, where they worked as a Research and Development Engineer, specializing in robotics. Randall was responsible for designing and developing a PC-based multiple axis robot motion controller.

In 1989, Randall joined Spar Aerospace Limited, Advanced Technology Systems Group as a Control System Simulation and Analysis Engineer. Here, they played a crucial role in designing and implementing control system changes for the NASA Space Shuttle Remote Manipulator System (SRMS) robot arm. Randall also developed payload attitude control algorithms for real-time and non-real-time simulators.

From 1992 to 1996, Randall served as the Software Section Head at Labotix Automation, a company that focused on robotic automation systems for laboratories. Randall led a small software team in developing robotics and control systems for clinical laboratory and industrial automation. Their responsibilities included developing control system software, drivers, and object-oriented graphical user interfaces.

In 1997, Randall transitioned into software consulting, providing services to various clients in Southern California. Randall supported software development efforts at Disneyland Park for the new theme park, California Adventure. Randall also worked with Excellon Automation, where they designed and manufactured automated PCB drilling systems.

Starting in 1999, Randall joined Microvault, a secure document delivery software startup, as a Software Engineer. Randall was responsible for the full-cycle design, development, and implementation of the company's premier product, NetCourier. Randall developed core proprietary self-decrypting document technology and created a robust, multi-threaded high-volume mail engine.

From 2002 to 2004, Randall returned to software consulting, providing services to clients in Southern California. Notably, they supported Konica Minolta Lab in the development of business copier document management software and provided technical guidance to junior engineers.

In 2004, Randall joined Maxxess Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. Randall reported directly to the Engineering VP and was responsible for the architectural design and development of the next-generation embedded Linux area control system. Randall utilized C++, POSIX threads, embedded SQL (SQLite), and TCL scripting engines to create robust, multi-threaded soft-real-time applications.

Randall's next role was at IGT, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2007 to 2017. Randall focused on supporting and developing the embedded Linux component of the Electronic Table Game Team (ETG). Randall also implemented proprietary communication protocols for the Casino industry as part of the Communal Bank Devices Team.

In 2007, Randall also started working at SurfBytes LLC as a Principal Software/Firmware Engineer. Notable achievements during their tenure include being the patented inventor of "Chip Drop" and working with embedded solutions and Linux.

Randall's most recent position is as a Senior Hardware Engineer for Las Vegas Sands Corp., starting in 2023. Additional details about this role are not provided.
