Sho Shiroto

Sho Shiroto, CFA, has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as the Model Validation Lead at Laser Digital since August 2023, while seconded from Nomura. With a tenure at Nomura that began in April 2011, Sho has held various titles including Executive Director, Vice President, and Associate, focusing on validating mathematical models for pricing and calculating financial risks. Earlier experience includes a brief internship at Nomura Asset Management in August 2009. Academically, Sho holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Operations Research and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering, both from Waseda University.
