Pieter Raat

Pieter Raat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in architecture and innovation. As the co-founder of diyPresso B.V., Pieter has developed the world’s first espresso machine tailored for DIY enthusiasts. In addition, Pieter co-founded deWoodstok B.V., creating specialized bouldering equipment, and Laserbeest, a company focused on laser cutting and engraving services. Previous roles include co-founder and architect at buro zolder, working on architectural designs in Nepal, and serving as a climbing instructor at TU Delft Sportscentre. Academic credentials include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Delft University of Technology, where Pieter contributed to projects focusing on sustainable energy and climate adaptation.
