Hansjoerg Rohde

Hansjoerg Rohde is an experienced product manager with a strong background in laser technology and optics. Currently serving as Produktmanager at LASER COMPONENTS since February 2023, Rohde previously held the position of Globaler Produktmanager at Messer Cutting Systems GmbH from April 2022 to January 2023. Prior roles include Produktmanager and International Sales Manager at Coherent Inc. from July 2016 to March 2022 and Technology Manager at Rofin Baasel Lasertechnik from August 2000 to June 2016, where responsibilities included the development of new laser processes and strategic planning of new technologies. Earlier experience includes the role of Application Manager at Lasag from February 1992 to December 1999. Rohde holds a Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on optics from the University of Stuttgart, completed in 1995, and has a foundational education from Schubart Gymnasium Ulm.
