LASERS is a public trust fund created in 1946 to provide retirement allowances and other benefits for state officers and employees and their beneficiaries.

Our membership totals approximately 100,000 members.

LASERS provides defined benefit plans for various categories of members:

• Bridge Police for the Crescent City Connection (DOTD)
