Merrick Chai

Merrick Chai is a Senior Research Associate I at Lassen Therapeutics, with experience in performing in vitro cellular functional and signaling assays, as well as developing cellular assays to evaluate antibody activity. Prior to this role, Merrick served as a Senior Scientist at Qed Bioscience Inc., focusing on quantitative and qualitative ELISAs for antibody analysis and protein purification techniques. Early career experiences include an internship at Cell_IDx involving ELISA assays and data analysis, as well as an undergraduate researcher role in Zhang Lab at UCSD, where Merrick contributed to projects on nanoparticle synthesis and analysis. Merrick holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nanoengineering from UC San Diego.
