Bethany Okada

Bethany Okada is a scientist who currently works as a Scientist II, Analytical at Lassogen. Prior to their current position, they worked as an Associate Scientist at Sirenas from August 2018 to November 2020 where they were responsible for assessing purity and quantity on a microgram scale, developing HPLC methods, analyzing LC-MS and MS/MS data, and extracting and fractionating samples. Okada also led a six-member team in the generation of a mammalian fraction library for biological testing.

Before their work at Sirenas, Okada was a graduate student at Princeton University from September 2013 to September 2018.

Bethany Okada earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College and went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Princeton University.

Bethany Okada reports to Mark Burk, Founder, President & CEO. They are on a team with Rajan Chaudhari - Senior Scientist I, Computational Modeling, Jennifer Shaffer - Senior Scientist I, Biochemistry, and Peter Jordan - Senior Scientist II, Discovery.
