Jeremy Barton

Jeremy Barton is the current Advisor at Lassogen, and has been in this position since August 2016. Prior to this, they were the VP, Head of Oncology, Biotechnology Clinical Development at Pfizer from July 2011 to August 2016. In this role, they oversaw an Oncology early development portfolio of biologicals from research through to Phase 2. Jeremy also chaired the Technical Review Committee and co-chaired the Oncology Strategic Review Board.

Barton has also held the position of Founder and President at Jeremy Barton Consulting Inc since February 2019. Prior to this, they were the Chief Medical Officer at eFFECTOR THERAPEUTICS from August 2016 to February 2019.

Barton's previous experience includes Senior Medical Director at Seattle Genetics from October 2004 to August 2006, and Medical Director/ Senior Medical Director/ Head of European Oncology at Ciba/Sandoz/GlaxoWellcome/AstraZeneca/Elan/Millennium from January 1992 to October 2004.

Jeremy Barton has a M.D. from University College Hospital Medical School in London and a M.A. in Physiological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
