Angeles Burgos

Angeles Burgos has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Angeles began their career in 1996 as a Junior Auditor at PwC, auditing banking houses. In 1998, they joined Telefónica Argentina as an Account Manager and was responsible for budget and strategic planning of voice business for Argentina and coordination and leadership of budget in Chile, Brazil, Peru, Puerto Rico and USA. Angeles also created and actively participated in the implementation of the integration Telefónica Wholesale Business Model for LATAM. In 2002, they joined iBasis as a Regional Sales Latam and was the first member of the team who helped develop LATAM Region from 0. Angeles was responsible for the origination traffic for all LATAM Region; commercial relation with carriers, bilaterals negotations and contributed substantially to improve origination results. In 2006, they moved to Latinode as Director Sales Carrier and was responsible for management and growth of carrier base of Tier 1 and PTT grade Carriers. In 2008, they rejoined iBasis as Regional Sales Manager Americas and was promoted to integrate the Americas Termination team. Angeles lead a management team of 4 Country Managers spread in 3 regions (North, Central and South America) and managed the International LongDistance trading business ($250 million in annual revenue). Angeles also held the role of Regional Sales Manager Centroamerica, Caribbean and Mexico, adding Mexico portfolio to their previous responsibilities and leading a team of 3 country managers. Angeles introduced the Mobile and Innovation product portfolio in the region trough a Partnership & Consultative selling approach and negotiated bilaterals deals in the Region (Digicel, Altice Group, Americamovil, etc), improving the results in terms of gross margin. In 2019, Angeles Burgos joined Last Mile Corp. as Senior Account Manager and China Mobile International Limited as Senior Business Development Manager (Data Services Us Enterprise).

Angeles Burgos received a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA, an Accountant degree, and a Business Administration degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' in 1993-1999. In 2005, they obtained a Master in International Business from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
