Rica Ortiz

Rica Ortiz (she/her/hers) is an Operations Specialist and Executive Assistant to Last Mile Education Fund CEO and COO. Rica has most recently coordinated HR and Finance Operations at the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT). A long-time wearer of many hats, Rica brings over a decade of accounting and operations management from a fast-paced embedded software development team in Silicon Valley. Rica grew up in the Philippines where she studied Communications at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. She is a self-taught freelance artist in traditional and digital media, and is continuing learning graphic design.
