Julie Krause has a strong background in monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning in the field of public health. Julie currently serves as the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Technical Support at Last Mile Health. Prior to this role, they were the Interim Director of MERL for New Country Programs at the same organization. Julie also worked as a Senior MERL Specialist and a MERL Specialist & Data Analyst at Last Mile Health. Before joining Last Mile Health, Julie was a Consultant Data Analyst at another organization in 2019.

Julie's career in public health began with their role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Ohio State University Medical Center from 2008 to 2010.

Julie Krause completed their education with a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, specializing in International Health, Global Disease Epidemiology and Control, from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology, General from The Ohio State University, graduating in 2010. In 2012, they obtained the certification of Certified in Public Health (CPH) from the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE).
