Andres Varela

Andres Varela has a diverse work experience in the airline industry. Andres started their career in 2003 as a Key Accounts Manager at Tampa Cargo. In 2007, they joined LATAM Airlines as a Senior Regional Sales Manager and served in this role until 2012. From 2012 to 2019, Andres held the position of Vice President of Sales East Coast USA - Cargo at LATAM Airlines. Andres then became the Vice President of Sales North America until October 2021. Currently, they are serving as the Sr. VP Commercial North America & APAC at LATAM Airlines.

Andres Varela completed their education with a High School Degree from Colegio Corazonista in the years 1980-1992. Andres then pursued a Bachelor of International Business at Universidad EAFIT from 1994-1999. Later on, they attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez during the period of 2011-2012.
