Francisco Sepulveda

Francisco Sepulveda currently serves as the Head of Data in Operations and Maintenance at LATAM Airlines, leading data-driven digital transformation initiatives across various operational areas. With prior experience as a Research Assistant for the MIT LEAP Group, Francisco developed a VR-based Intelligent Tutoring System and contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the MIT Physics Department. A Fellow in System Design & Management, Francisco led projects that enhanced mechanical engineering knowledge through hands-on study and innovative solutions, including a VR project for airline safeguarding. Previously, at ACRE World, Francisco drove strategic planning and execution for start-ups, and at Armada de Chile, held key leadership roles including Head of Engineering School and Project Manager, overseeing significant budgets and complex engineering projects. Francisco holds multiple degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Academia Politécnica Naval.
