Laura Stürmer

Fractional CMO at LatAm Startups

Laura Stürmer has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Laura started their career at PS Júnior, where they worked as an External Relations and Events coordinator and later as a Project Consultant for Marketing and Finance. Laura then interned at Lojas Renner as a Product Marketing Analyst, conducting market research, supporting marketing campaigns, and collaborating with different departments. Laura then joined TIM Brasil as a Retail Analyst intern, assisting with retail store support. After that, they worked at Votorantim Cimentos as a Corporate Management Trainee and later as a Senior Marketing Analyst, managing the retail and wholesale segments. Laura then moved on to Canadian Tire Corporation, where they served as a Marketing Coordinator, Brand Consultant, and Associate Brand Manager, focusing on brand strategy, product development, and business management. Currently, they are working at Kimberly-Clark as a Senior Associate Brand Manager and has recently been promoted to Brand Manager for Huggies. In this role, they are responsible for driving business objectives, leading the development and execution of brand operating plans, and supporting the overall brand growth agenda. Additionally, Laura has also worked as a Fractional CMO at LatAm Startups.

Laura Stürmer completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2008 to 2013. In 2011, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and also studied Business Administration and Management, General at Universidade do Porto. In 2013, they attended the Tongji University's Summer School in Shanghai, China, focusing on Doing Business in China.

Later, in 2017, Laura studied various courses in Business/Commerce, General at Humber College.

In terms of additional certifications, Laura acquired the following:

- In 2019, they obtained the Google Ads Fundamentals certification from Google.

- In 2017, they completed the Inbound Marketing certification from HubSpot Academy.

- In 2020, they completed the Ecommerce Accelerator Program from Edge by Ascential.

- In 2021, they obtained two certifications: the Amazon Advertising Foundations certification from Amazon and the Digital Commerce Accelerator Program from Edge by Ascential.
