Brooke Besley, CPA

Brooke Besley, CPA, has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in accounting and project management.

From 2014 to 2015, Brooke worked as a Project Assistant at Benefit Innovations Inc. During this time, they also served as the Speakout Coordinator for the UBC Business Communications Club.

In 2015, they gained experience as a Housekeeper and Server at Swish Lake Wilderness Resort.

In 2016, Brooke returned to Benefit Innovations Inc. as an Accounting Intern and Project Assistant.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Deloitte Canada as a Tax Analyst - Global Employer Services, focusing on tax-related matters for international companies.

Brooke continued their tenure at Deloitte Canada from 2018 to 2019 as a Staff Accountant I, before being promoted to Staff Accountant II from 2019 to 2020. Brooke then became a Senior Accountant from 2020 to 2021 at the same firm.

Brooke'smost recent position is currently at Later, where Brooke is working as a Senior Accountant starting in January 2022.

Brooke Besley, CPA, obtained their CPA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting with a Co-op program at UBC Sauder School of Business from 2013 to 2018. Brooke'seducational journey began with the completion of high school at Shawnigan Lake School, where they received a High School Diploma from 2010 to 2013.
