Jennifer Hamamoto

Jennifer Hamamoto is an experienced immigration attorney currently serving as the Managing Director of Immigration Services at the Latin American Association, where responsibilities include managing the Domestic Violence Program and advocating for immigrant victims under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Prior roles include Immigration Clinic Attorney at the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Immigration Unit Law Clerk at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, focusing on cases involving victims of violent crimes, trafficking, and domestic violence. Jennifer's extensive background includes legal internships and clerkships with organizations such as the National Immigrant Justice Center and the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, as well as a public affairs internship at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid. Educational qualifications include a J.D. in International Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. in Government & International Studies along with French Language & Literature from the University of Notre Dame.
