Jose Valer

Jose Valer has worked as a job training manager, study responsible, country program evaluator, mid-term consultant, executive director, and consultant. Jose currently works as a job training manager at the Latin American Association.

Jose Valer has a long history of working in various finance and consulting roles. Jose has worked as a study responsible at GFA Consulting Group GmbH, where they analyzed the legal products value chain and proposed strategies for farmers’ organizations development and collective action promotion. Jose has also worked as a country program evaluator at KOLPING YOUTH INTERNATIONAL, where they analyzed the impacts, relevance, efficiency and sustainability of projects of community-based organizations. In addition, they have served as a consultant for the World Bank Group and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Most recently, Jose Valer served as the executive director of FONCODES. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the organization's finances and operations. Jose currently works as a job training manager at the Latin American Association. In this role, they are responsible for managing the organization's job training programs and helping to provide economic opportunities for Latin American immigrants in the United States.

Jose Valer has an EMBA in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Technology as well as a Diploma in Marketing from INWENT Internationale Waiterbildung und Entwicklung gGmbH. Jose also has a BS in Economics from Universidad Nacional San Antonio Abad del Cusco.
