Albert Varas

Albert Varas is the CEO at Latino Center of the Midlands, where Albert has been dedicated to building a stronger Latino community in Omaha, Nebraska for over 50 years. Albert has also been involved in various boards, advisory boards, and committees, such as UNMC Board of Counselors and Nebraska Medicine Board of Directors. Additionally, Albert has worked in program development and career advising at Avenue Scholars Foundation and served as the Board President at City Sprouts - Omaha. With a background in special education and a degree in History, Albert continues to be involved in impactful projects such as the Voces Oral History Project and AIM Code School.
