Leangei Gomez Nunez is a professional with diverse experience in financial services, volunteering, retail, and research. Currently serving as a Loan Officer at Latino Community Credit Union since November 2020, Leangei previously contributed as a Peace Corps Volunteer in early 2020. Retail experience includes a role as a Sales Associate at Bath & Body Works and White Barn. In academia, Leangei worked as a Research Intern at East Carolina University Division of Health Sciences, where responsibilities included conducting and transcribing interviews and translating materials. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Manager at Monkey Joe's Party and Play, overseeing financial transactions and employee management. Leangei holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from East Carolina University and an Associate of Arts from Wake Technical Community College.
