Senior Small Business Coach & Liaison, PR at Latino Economic Development Center

Javier Bisbal joined LEDC with years of experience helping several communities and individuals in Puerto Rico. For two years, Javier Bisbal worked as a Team Leader and Center Manager working with the Puerto Rico Housing Department's R3 Program. During his time in this program, Javier helped all districts of Puerto Rico enhance resilient, safe housing for families and secure businesses to avoid future natural disaster emergencies. Javier also has experience working with the Puerto Rico Planning Board; for about a year in this role, Javier was able to help individuals with the regulation of construction codes and permits for businesses and housing. Furthermore, Javier was an Employee Assistance Program Coach that aided local private companies with the training and development of their employees. As a Senior Small Business Coach for LEDC in Puerto Rico, Javier has the responsibility to help local business owners grow and further develop their ideas and businesses. Javier holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music with a Minor in Education and a Master's Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Moreover, Javier is currently working on his dissertation titled "Music as a Moderating Variable Between the Big Five Personality Traits and Self-Assessment Performance" to obtain his Ph.D. in Industrial Organization Psychology. Javier loves to spend time with his family during his free time, practice skateboarding, go to the gym, and travel worldwide.
