Alfonso Martinez

Alfonso E. Martinez M.Sc. serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Latino Leadership Institute since March 2024, focusing on empowering Latino leaders and entrepreneurs. Currently coaching baseball at The Out-of-Door Academy and leading the 14U Travel Baseball team at FLORIDA BURN, Alfonso has also held various coaching positions, including Assistant Baseball Coach for national teams at Dig In Baseball. As the Global Chief Human Resources Officer for the International Baccalaureate and EVP, Chief Human Resource Officer at Laureate International Universities, Alfonso has extensive experience in education and human resources management. Earlier roles include senior leadership positions at NII Holdings, Sodexo, and HACR. Alfonso holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavioral Analysis from The Johns Hopkins University and is certified as a Mental Game Performance Coach by Peak Performance Sports, alongside an A Level Coaching Certification from USA BASEBALL.
