Jose Gonzalez

Jose Gonzalez is a dedicated advocate with extensive experience in public service and legal fields. Currently serving as an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, as well as a fellow at Management Leadership for Tomorrow and LawBound, Jose has developed a strong foundation in legal methods and community outreach. Previous roles include a district office intern for State Senator Andrew Gounardes, where Jose managed constituent concerns and crafted strategic proposals, and a public policy fellow with the Institute for Youth in Policy, focusing on innovative solutions for social issues. Involved in organizing multiple events for the Latinx Professional and Educational Network at Columbia University, Jose actively promotes community engagement among Latinx students. Jose holds a degree in Political Science and Public Health from Columbia University, with an educational background that includes studies at Dover High School.
