Elaine Utin

Elaine Utin has a diverse range of work experience, spanning various roles and organizations. Elaine is currently serving as the Co-Founder/Executive Director of LatinxEd, a non-profit organization focused on promoting educational opportunities for Latinx immigrant families in North Carolina. In this role, Elaine leads programming and advocacy efforts to empower Latinx leaders in the state.

Additionally, Elaine is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coach & Advisor at Developing Capacity Coaching, LLC. Here, they help individuals and teams develop conscious leadership skills to advance equity and create more equitable organizations.

Elaine also has experience in the field of education, working as an Adjunct Instructor at the UNC School of Education. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director of N.C. Sli, where they contributed to the organization's mission of supporting student leadership and college preparation.

Elaine Utin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Grades Education from the UNC School of Education, which they earned between 2008 and 2012. Later, they attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education from 2015 to 2016, obtaining a Master of Education degree in Technology, Innovation, and Education.
