Helena Franco

Helena Franco is an experienced medical professional currently serving as an Orthopaedic Principal House Officer at Queensland Health since January 2020, with previous roles including Orthopaedic Senior Resident Medical Officer. Franco co-founded Australis Scientific Pty Ltd. in June 2022 and holds multiple academic positions as Honorary Adjunct Senior Teaching Fellow and Honorary Adjunct Teaching Fellow at Bond University and Associate Lecturer at The University of Queensland. Additionally, Franco works as a Clinical Research Specialist at Boston Children's Hospital and has been involved with Flare Capital Partners and LatinxVC as an Academic Scholar and Venture Capital Fellow, respectively. Earlier roles include being the Secretary General, President, and Vice President of the IASSS and completing residency at Mater Health Services.
