Sam Shrank

Sam Shrank has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a MAP Sustainable Energy Fellow/Business Volunteer for Border Green Energy Team. From 2010 to 2011, they served as a Climate & Energy Research Fellow at Worldwatch Institute, where they designed Low Carbon Energy Roadmaps for Island States in the Caribbean program. Moving on, from 2011 to 2013, Sam worked as an Associate for GreenOrder, developing a long-term energy efficiency and gas growth strategy for a Northeast electric and gas utility. Then, from 2013 to 2017, they held the role of Senior Research Associate (U.S. Electric Utilities) at Sanford C. Bernstein, driving clean-energy research for a top sell-side equity research firm. In 2017, Sam joined Tendril as Director of Corporate Strategy, leading FP&A and business development for the clean energy SaaS company. Sam'sresponsibilities included developing a 3-year business plan and overhauling the company's pricing strategy. After that, from 2018 to 2022, Sam served as the SVP of Finance at Peak Dental Services. Sam recently joined Latitude Food Allergy Care in 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer. Overall, Sam Shrank has gained expertise in finance, strategy, and clean energy through their various roles.

Sam Shrank completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Stanford University from 2004 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering at Stanford University from 2008 to 2009.
