Lattice is building tools and infrastructure to make building ambitious, large-scale blockchain applications possible. Our goal is to take blockchain applications beyond just finance and speculation, to encompass playful use-cases such as games, virtual worlds, social apps, and P2P consumer apps. We want to transition Ethereum from a financial computer to its original ambition as the World Computer. Specifically, we’re building MUD (https://mud.dev), an open-source framework for building large-scale blockchain applications, and are developing infrastructure products designed for MUD applications. Lattice also houses an in-house game studio designing and creating MUD-based games and apps, both as consumer-facing products and to push the boundaries of our technology.
