Brian Brown

Brian Brown has over 10 years of work experience in various software engineering roles. Brian is currently employed at Lattice as a Staff Software Engineer, having previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at the same company. Prior to their time at Lattice, Brian worked at UDig as a Lead Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where they mentored developers and led teams in the migration and development of enterprise applications. Before UDig, they were an Application Developer at GeoDecisions, where they extended a web application to support land application permitting. Brian also worked as a GIS Developer at WorldView Solutions, Inc. (now part of GeoDecisions) and as a GIS Specialist and Technician at EEE Consulting, Inc., where they automated GIS workflows and developed processes to display photo and GPS data on web maps. Brian gained early experience as a Museum Division Geography Intern at the National Geographic Society and as a Paint Crew Supervisor at the University of Mary Washington. Brian's career started as a GIS Intern at Dewberry.

Brian Brown attended the University of Mary Washington from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Geographic Information Sciences.
